Hershey's Caramel Syrup 623g Recall Incorrect Labelling

24/05/2023 - Stuart Alexander recalls Hersheys Caramel Syrup 623g due to incorrect allergen labelling.

Stuart Alexander today recalled all Hershey’s Caramel Syrup 623g batch code BB 11 2024 & batch code 60L13B2 from Woolworths, Coles, IGA, Drakes, Campbells, Amazon & SPAR stores across Australia due to incorrect allergen labelling.

Stuart Alexander CEO Nick Nairn said the company was made aware of this issue from a recent consumer complaint around the incorrect labelling of Hersheys Caramel Syrup 623g.

The affected product has best before date of: BB 11 2024 & batch code 60L13B2.

“As soon as we were aware of the issue, we’ve been in contact with authorities at the NSW Department of Primary Industrie and FSANZ to conduct a national recall and have notified all relevant retailers,” Mr Nairn said.

“Any consumers who have the affected product should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. If consumers have any questions they can contact the company by calling 1800 188 484 or emailing consumer@stalex.com.au.

Mr Nairn said anyone concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
